Make Money Writing Are you an aspiring writer but don't know how or where to market your writing? Well, thanks to the internet, you now have a place to express yourself and make some money with your talent for the written word. If you're good enough, you can earn a fairly good living but even marginal writers can make money with one or more of the various venues to write online. For beginning article writers, a good place to start is at Helium Content. You can choose any of the hundreds of titles and topics to write to or start a new title yourself. Once you have your article written, you can publish it immediately. Whenever someone pulls up your article to read, the page it's on will also have Google Adsense ads displayed on it and Helium pays you a portion of the ad revenue it gets when someone clicks on any of those ads. Helium members determine the ranking of the articles in their respective categories by rating articles and it's a requirement that members participate in the rating process to be eligible to receive payments. That is the only real requirement besides writing that you will have to do and there are no restrictions on how many articles you can write or topics you can write to. The more you write, the more money you can make. Another good writing site is Associated Content. You can submit your article for up front payment or just for what they call "performance payments", which is a set amount for page views. They presently pay anywhere from $1.50 - $2.00 per 1000 page views. That might not sound like much but if you submit enough content that gains in popularity, you can build up to a nice monthly income. There are also sites that let you basically put your article into a webpage format and you can add other content to it like pictures, video, etc. to add to your reader's experience. I use both Hubpages and Squidoo. Here's an example of one of my pages on Squidoo about T Bucket Roadsters. These pages are super easy to make and there is no limit on how many you can make so really no limit on how much money you can make either. Give it a try and see how easy it is. You can write articles or shorter posts much like a blog and it pays you for revenue from page views of your posts directly to your PayPal account. The minimum payout is only $5 so you can get paid often if you write often. If you don't want to write article length content, there are other sites like WebAnswers that you can make money by posting answers to questions. The site pays you through Adsense revenue sharing so you will need an Adsense account. You make money by posting questions and answers and when yours are viewed, you get paid a share of any ad revenue. Here are a couple of examples of my answers posted on WebAnswers: Blogging If you don't like researching and writing articles, you can give blogging a try. There are many sites, most notably Blogger, that will let you set up a blog or even several, totally free. Blogging can be a very informal writing style so basically, if you can talk, you can blog. Your blogs can be as long or short as you like and about an subject that interests you. You should post to your blogs often and if they are interesting enough to attract a following, you can make money by monetizing the pages with ads from Google Adsense. Since Blogger is owned by Google, they make it easy to place ads. All you have to do is sign up for an Adsense account which is also free. Ebooks If you really enjoy writing at length, how about writing your own info product? Ebooks are hot sellers and if you create one, you don't have to have your own website to market it. ClickBank not only has an affiliate program for resellers, they also set you up as a vendor to sell your own product and of course, let others sell it for you too. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Don't think you can write?
