PTC - Get Paid To Read Email Before I tell you about paid to read email, let me tell you about PeopleString. It is a full feature email program that pays you to use it. Use it for your business email address and you can get paid not only for paid emails you get but ALL emails you receive or send. Now on to the paid email programs. Probably the simplest way to make money online is with PTC or paid to read email, but the first thing you should know is that you will not make very much money by doing it. It's very simple to do, you simply click the links in the emails that the paid email program sends you and visit the advertiser's website. You get paid a very small fee (usually a penny or less) per click and website visited. As you can see, if you're only making a penny or less per click, it would take a lot of clicks and time to make any significant amount of money. The most you can realistically make by joining several programs is a few dollars a month at best. You may find PTC programs will claim to pay more but beware of claims of high payouts. It's a pretty good clue that it's a scam. Take a look at their terms of service and find what the minimum payout level is. That's the money amount you have to reach in your account before you can cash out and actually get paid. I would bet that any program that claims to pay more than a penny per click will have a high minimum payout. The reason for a this is that they know most people will tire of the program and give up and drop out before ever reaching payout or if it's a scam sight, they simply don't have any intention of ever paying you. They will fold the program and run before anyone reaches the payout minimum. Most of the legitimate programs have a payout minimum that is $10 or less and many are $1 or less. If you want to get involved with these programs, I recommend that you stick with the lowest payout minimum programs that you can find. That way you will be able to get paid in the shortest amount of time and with some programs, you can get paid every month or even several times per month. Most of these programs have an affiliate system. If you refer people to the program, they go in your "downline". You will then earn not only for your own activity but also the activity of your referrals. The average person that gets into this will recruit perhaps a dozen or so other members into the program and make a few extra cents per month. You would need hundreds if not thousands of referrals to add any significant amount to your monthly income. The main reason is, most people that join these programs tire of it very fast when they don't make big bucks and they quit clicking. A very small percentage of the people you refer will actually stick with it and remain active for very long. These programs are not as popular as they once were with advertisers and I've seen many come and go through the years. Some programs will offer a "premium" membership for a fee but my advice is, never pay a fee to a PTC program. There is no guarantee the program will even be around long enough for you to make the fee back, let alone make any profit. There are some legitimate programs out there though so if you want to give it a try, I would recommend a program called Cash For Action which has a very low minimum payout level of 11 cents via PayPal so it's very easy to make payout every month on your own efforts. They primarily send paid searches with some paid ads but they also have paid signup offers. Another good program is Quick Rewards. They have paid email, surveys, signups and more. They send out emails but with this program it pays to log into the site regularly because there is a lot more on the website than only doing the paid emails. You can make a quick nickel by clicking a few links on the site every day. No minimum payout either. Very good program. Well, I have to admit, I'm breaking my own rule and I joined 2 programs that have a higher payout minimum. I have checked them out and both are run by the same company so they're almost identical in appearance and everything else but they seem to be legitimate programs and the company has been around for a while so I'll test them out. They're called InBoxDollars and SendEarnings. My son joined these programs so I'm supporting him and advertising his links here, so if you join, you'll be helping him through college. Give them a try, they have paid emails, surveys, sign up offers and they start you off with a $5 bonus just for signing up. There are probably many more good sites out there but since I don't really use them anymore, I can't recommend any others so you'll have to do your own research. One great site for doing this is MyLot. It's a social networking site that is set up like a discussion forum. You can make money by posting but the reason I'm telling you about it here is that a large number of the people on this site are looking to make money online too and a lot of them are active with PTC so you can find out a lot of first hand information about what sites are good and which ones are scams. If you're looking to make money with PTC, you'll like MyLot as well. I also recommend 2 excellent sites for doing research on PTC. They monitor the paid to read sites and list the good and bad for you. The first one is GPTBoycott and they have listings of a lot of the bad programs. They have a lot of good information on their site and also a forum where you can get up to date comments on what other people's experiences are with the programs they are in. The other site has information on the good programs that are paying and they also have a forum. It's called BeenPaid. I highly recommend all three of these sites before you join any GPTR programs. It can save you a lot of time and trouble.
